Josephine was the first black female international STAR ..... She left her native Country (St.Louis in USA) in the roaring 20's because of the racism and because she dreamed of a better life .....
When Josephine arrived in Europe she found a new world and mostly important a place where people of every skin colour were equals .......
The first night she performed in Paris ( dans "La Revue Negre") dressed only with a mini-skirt made of bananas her legend began.......
82 yrs after that unique special night , her STAR still shines among the brightest Stars in the Entertainment 'world .....
May her spirit live FOREVER !
