Welcome to this tribute page /blog dedicated to the great Josephine Baker .
Josephine was the first black female international STAR ..... She left her native Country (St.Louis in USA) in the roaring 20's because of the racism and because she dreamed of a better life .....
When Josephine arrived in Europe she found a new world and mostly important a place where people of every skin colour were equals .......
The first night she performed in Paris ( dans "La Revue Negre") dressed only with a mini-skirt made of bananas her legend began.......
82 yrs after that unique special night , her STAR still shines among the brightest Stars in the Entertainment 'world .....
May her spirit live FOREVER !

This is a beautiful and worthy tribute to the great Josephine Baker! These are great photograph choices, and it's so cool to have the excellent video material, and be able to actually see Josephine in dynamic performance action.
